Nice, Mike. Great job on the restoration.

HK Dude 05-06-2011 01:35 PM

Since I had the camera out here are 2 Dans, both fixed barrel models. Top is a 44 mag with 8 inch barrel and the bottom one is a 357 mag with a 5 inch barrel.

I plan on picking up a 4" barrel when I can find one.

Dave Waits 05-09-2011 06:53 PM

Nevermind.

DScott 05-23-2011 08:27 AM

I wasn't looking to add another caliber to the collection, but couldn't pass this up. After shooting it, I'm glad I didn't.:)

http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMG_0462.jpg

This is a .44, the .357 that I was looking for when I ran across this is on its way.....why not, right?

HK Dude 05-23-2011 09:15 AM

Very nice Love me a blued gun.

Dave Waits 05-23-2011 03:35 PM

Here's mine, I'll take more pics after it gets back from Blueridge Bluing. BTW, mark, the guy who runs Blueridge Bluing is the guy who originally did all the Bluing for Dan Wesson.

Thats pretty, I would love to own another revolver now, I sold my last one about 24 years ago when I switched to 1911's.

I will never part with my S&W 19 no matter how many Automatics I get. It's still a shooter almost 40 years later. I use it regularly for ICORE matches.

I don't want to make the members that have only ONE DW Revolver cry, this is the Pistol Pac I bought shortly after I moved up here to Pa.

This is the gun I was looking for when I stumbled onto the .44

http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMG_0471.jpg

It's not two pistol packs, but it's two pistols, and for now anyway it's going to have to do.

http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMG_0475.jpg

Ewk is sending me the right sight for the 4" barrel.

AutoMag 07-27-2011 08:08 PM

I'm pretty new here, I'd like to throw up a couple of pictures. I love the 4VH Dan Wesson in .357 Magnum

http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...P9100021-1.jpg

I have one more in the works, a 715 in high polish stainless, but it's a pretty long term project.

A .445 SuperMag (this one is pretty special, S/N 0000001). Busted that rock clean through at 25 yards. It's a beast!

Old Navy 02-10-2012 10:10 PM

Thanks NAMVET72 Big Blue's almost full set, (2", 6", 8" and 10") just waiting for VH4 to show up next month to finish the set.

Snipersnest 02-11-2012 03:28 PM

Nice!

Old Navy 02-11-2012 03:59 PM

One outstanding shooter, as it sits here except for all black front sight switch, I have done as many as 18 in a row to a sub 1.5" group, double action, standing at 25 yards.

Old Navy IMHO the DW Revolvers are the Best Older Wheel Guns that I have shot that aren't Customed made..........

I will agree with that for sure, I know S&W revolvers from their famous reformance center can't shoot with a Dan. The old Colt DA revolvers of the '50's to the '80's were close for quality and accuracy.

AutoMag 02-11-2012 06:58 PM

Very nice!!!:):)

Old Navy 02-11-2012 09:46 PM

Here's the twins, 22 & 357, aka model 22 and 15.

The Three Amigos

http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...eeamigos-1.jpg

744 6"
715 4"
722 2"

Old Navy 02-13-2012 08:48 PM

The 4" 22 of mine is extreamly accurate, how's the 2" I've never fired my 2" barrel. Plan to try it this spring, but was wondering how it does from 10 feet out to 25 yards. Here it is with CCW stock I pick up, a 2" for the 15 or my 715 is on the bucket list.

http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...6393/22-01.jpg

The frame needs re-bluing on the 22, but the gun hasn't had but about 100 rounds fired as yet.

AutoMag 02-13-2012 10:56 PM

Very nice!!!:)

Old Navy 02-14-2012 08:04 AM

The 715 I bought NIB from an estate sale few years ago. I guess I have put 5o to 75 rounds thru the gun so far.

My wife's cousin has been a long time DW revolver aficionado. Some of his wheelguns below, along his S&W Model 46 .22LR:

Old Navy 04-04-2013 08:03 AM

I've wanted a S&W 41 for years, but too expensive. Did have a guy offer an older 7.5" with the flash suppressor compensator even trade for my 722 set couple years ago. I told him he would need about $500 cash to go with it, but needless to say he didn't bite.
