I have seen that over the years...I think people are just borrowing the picture and putting it up for sale. That or the pistol gets around...

Definitely want to wear a rubber glove when taking that one out for a spin. I guess I'll be the first one to mention the short barrel length.

Because he used scenes from classic art I guess it's is supposedly higher class than the revolver?

They aren't kids. They are cherubs. The carving are of mythical beings, cherubs, sintars and probably a godess. Think Puck from Shakespere.

It must be satyrs, nymphs and putti. Putti are similar to cherubs, sometimes winged, sometimes not. Cherubs are angels, putti (such as Cupid) are not.
