It IS something to be Concerned about! I do not, never have & never will do Facebook! Or any other social media sites! Just Me.

I won't even say anything here that I would not say to The Government to their face.

I bailed on the facebook a few years back - too much drama/nonsense and the matter of that whole *privacy* thing.

I had a bad feeling about FaceBook from the get-go. My daughter tried her best to get me to sign up, but I steadfastly refused.

I just deactivatied my account,been wanting to for a long time. I never used it, got tired of idiotic messages from total strangers.

The Fed has everyone's info anyway. In fact, they can turn your cell phone on at will and copy everything on it. Newer phones will actually have sensors that will notify you that you haven't looked at the screen in a pre-determined amount of time. Your privacy has long been gone, worrying about social media will do absolutely nothing. Technology took over long ago.

Same here..... I was just tired of the non-stop drama.

Zuckeberg is the most anti government guy I've ever seen. So it's highly unlikely he's going to allow the government to use the site. The problem is that people tend to feel they need to share everything on there. There are certain people I can tell when their going to the bathroom. :eek:
Also, the only drama that gets on there is only if you let it.
Btw, Facebook has now become the social media for adults. Kids and teens are now using twitter, instagram, and snapchat.

I killed my account last year, when fb decided it could track your browsing habits even if you weren't logged in to fb.

Google, Bing, Internet Explorer, Firefox,Chrome, The NSA, the FBI, the CIA, the DEA, the DMV, AARP, NAACP, Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, Nordstroms, the hot dog guy on the corner and the hooker on the opposite corner.. ....they all track your browsing habits, cause if they don't do it internally they buy the information.

Exactly! Unless you live off the grid, there's no way you can eliminate this.

And if you manage to go off the grid you can rest assure you'll get a visit from the feds (I have personal knowledge of this). In the end uncle Sam wants its slice of the pie. Gubmen doesn't like people off the grid.

Everytime I visit that place, it causes chaos, hate and dissension. My liberal sister goes apopleptic, my older kids hide their heads, and that woman does the death screech.

Bout time for another rodeo

God forbid, if I ever wind up alone I plan on going off the grid.
I'll move to a very war weather climate, live in a shack wearing only a loin cloth and get my fix of porn the old fashion way. :D
