XDS 45 vs. fuzzy butt
 

well while messing around today my son and I came across a rabbit.it was either 45 ACP or 270 Winchester short mag. I chose 45 ACP. I aimed at the head and one shot one kill end of story. my son is pretty excited because now he gets to try rabbit. I was also pleased to see a nice cubby of quail today. I also showed my son what they look like. There were at least 15 to 20 quail in the fence line.

Good shot! Your quail story reminded me of the hand full of feathers I recovered from the quail I shot with my duty .45 at NOB Norfolk, Va. in early 1960's. One of many weak moments.
