Bah, I've seen worse. I once saw a thumb hanging by a piece of skin.

Considering this was a 45/70 I agree with everyone who thinks he got lucky. Helluva round if ya need to sink a battleship. And yes, I do want a lever gun in 45/70, but if mine blows up it'll be with factory loads.
