Heritage range report
Jake and I took 100 rounds to the range to get his first taste of big boy guns. The gun shot pretty good...no malfunctions, solid lockup, no lead shaving.
Sights are the usual oldtime sixgun...channel on top, partridge blade in front. It shot a mite high, but we were just plinking steel at 25 yards. He hit it a few times...he had to hold the gun with the butt on the bench while I supported the frame with my finger, then he'd reach around with his right hand to squeeze the trigger. Still a mite big for him. All in all, it's worth what I paid and he'll grow into it. http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psbpmso5el.jpg http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psbntadwae.jpg |
