I like the angle of the handle to the spine. You should be able to get a lot of power behind that.

Its is Huge! But, very nicely balanced and Full Tang! Sharp! I see why is is called a "Dundee" Bowie! :D

This ^^^! The angle between handle and blade should allow you to deliver some nasty blows and cuts. Ask Brownie about "snap cuts" ;)

Been practicing those all afternoon along with some flow drills, having received "el hefe" this morning.

OP's would be quite effective with the snap cuts. Wonder what the weight is.

Brownie, when are you planning to do the wrist/forearm cut test? Just excited to see the video that's all.

Please post pics of you holding El Here :-)

Twice the weight of the El Hefe bowie at 14.8 ounces. It's got some weight to it, should be good for chopping.

Pitor,
I will be getting to that testing in the next few weeks hopefully.

Brownie, I don't think that is the Actual Weight. I think that is shipping weight which includes the sheath box and all.

For :Brownie

OK, the "Dundee Bowie" weighs Exactly 1.5 lbs, (or 24 Ounces.)
I used the Toledo scales at my Local Convenience Store! :D
That weight is The Knife Alone!
I knew it was shipping weight that was shown!

brownie 09-16-2015 07:23 PM

Thanks for the information dw
