New Rifle.

Coming home with me today. Fell on my lap, couldn't pass it up.
I also got a new over and under shotgun given to me as a gift from my SWAT mates. That picture later.

Show Off, lol How many flowers did you have to buy your wife so she would let you buy it?

Caleb 01-12-2016 05:37 PM

Very nice! Magpul furniture and all. Is that a 74 or 47? The muzzle brake looks like a 74.

None! I ply my wife with diamonds and exotic vacations. When I told her how much I paid for she didn't even blink an eye. Yeap. She's a keeper.

47 with pinned muzzle break to make it Jersey compliant.

Here's a pic of the shotgun. A little too tactical for my taste, but hey free is for me. Plus, I like the way they inserted our SWAT coins into the stock.

What pig said. Congrats on such fine weapons and an awesome wifey 👍

Good show, Tony. Like the shot gun and the medallions and love the sentiment behind the gift. Nice rifle, too. I understand that diamonds and jewelry work but I suspect that in your case and certainly in mine we are fortunate that our wives like us best when we are happy.... and they try to keep us that way. :)

skosh69 01-13-2016 04:14 PM

Congrats Tony!!!

So I customized the AK a little more. Installed a Magpul stock and Ultimak rail system that replaces the gas tube and top furniture as well as a two point sling.

Here I'm running it through its paces last week. I'm on the right as you look at the video. Sorry for the quality but it was my friend's phone.

My goal is to buy and install a reflex sight, preferably a Trijicon MRO.

TLE2 02-29-2016 01:55 AM

Very nice. I'm puzzling over the tactical O/U. Is it for door busting?

Caleb 02-29-2016 08:08 AM

Looking good Tony!

Me too. Impractical for door busting. We (SWAT) would use a regular pump with a stand-off muzzle.
A little over the top for my taste. But hey, can't or won't turn down a freebie. ;)

BlackKnight 03-10-2016 07:57 PM

All right. One project done. This rifle is now complete and ready to go.
Today I installed a Trijicon MRO and went to the range to zero it in.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psfgu4vz2x.jpg

Lo and behold it was already zeroed for 50 yards. Which is where I like it. Didn't have to make any adjustments.
This is from 7 to 25 yards, standing.

Next project is to put back together a Bushamster shorty to sell so I can finish my G21 and redo my Noveske AR.

jmlutz 03-10-2016 08:01 PM

Good deal!

Caleb 03-10-2016 10:02 PM

Well done, I like it! Good shooting too.
