Morgan REAL Silver slip holster
4 Attachment(s)
Members,
I have been busy in my leather shop, and came up with this. It's new to me, so I would like feed back--good or bad. I was thinking about adding this to my line up of holsters etc. Should be noted: these are REAL Morgan silver dollars. Thank you, Henry |
Henry that would be a Really Nice Custom BBQ Concealed holster.

Clyde,
I will take that as my first positive feed back. Thank you, Henry |
I like it a lot, but don't limit the insert to the silver dollar. Allow the buyers to choose what they want, eg challenge coins.

I've always liked the way a silver dollar dressed things up. My father had one from his birth year in a belt he wore 90% of the time. Count this vote as yay

Great advice. Had to start with some thing I know I can lay my hands on. Thank you, Henry ColMike I think I'm on the right track here. Do you have his belt? Thank you, Henry |
I gave the belt and silver dollar to my older brother. I thought he should have it.

Here is another version of the same thing. Its just beautiful!
Just wanted to show off I got one......nah nah na na nah! nanner Henry is uber good! |
My Mama had 2 Mason jars full of Morgans from the mid 1880's to early 1900's. Oldest son took them to a pawnshop. I have the last one, a 1923.
I like it, Henry...looks classy. But the Challenge coin would probably be a hit for the Vet's, too |
Morgan's should have a classic single action like a Ruger Blackhawk. What gun would go best with Ike's? PLEASE tell me those were NOT CC Morgan's. Carson City mint marks are very speedy!

And that's how it should be. We all have different taste, and that's what keeps the mystery stew cooking. Thank you, Henry |
My feed back on your holster is from the manufacturing stand point not whether or not I would use it.
You did a fine job. |

I remember the one I made for you. Use it all you can. Thank you, Henry Riverpigusmc, Thank you for the nice feedback, and I will look in to the Challenger coin also. The idea is to offer quality work, that also has a meaning. Thank you, Henry Gatorade I am getting some more coins next week, and will make a few holsters for classic revolvers. I may even make one for my Ruger 45 lc. And no- not the Carson Morgans. Thank you, Henry skosh69, Thank you for the honest feedback. They was the first two I made. Thank you, Henry |
DrHenley,
Thank you also for your feedback. Henry |
Henry,
Are you interested in becoming the official Cotep holster maker? The Cotep holster style in question is similar to a Milt Sparks VM II but with a stamped Cotep insignia, kinda like these two. A Cotep member on the big forum was wanting one and I'm sure you could sell a few here. Hell, I'd buy one and lord knows I even got a CCW. http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/DSC_0410.jpg http://i932.photobucket.com/albums/a...tepHolster.jpg |

You have a pm. Look forward to the challenge. Thank you, Henry |
Members,
Per suggestions from here and other places, I will start making the slip holsters with the Challenger Coins. The variety is staggering, so I will start with the basic Military coins. Even better will be the option that people can send their own special coin, and have it mounted. Thank you, Henry |
