1911 quiz, test your knowledge
How well do you know the 1911???
I dispute question #3. OBTW, I apparently don't know much about the 1911. :( http://www.gunsandammo.com/shoot101/...t=enlsponsored |
I.....um....never passed a history quiz in my life...my perfect score is intact after that test

Just to be clear, I thought the padre's answer was punny as hell and pretty close to the truth. I applaud his ingenuity and prowess. Touche` my friend. I shall come up with a retort at a later time. My "A few good men" response took most of my creative juices for the moment. |
he he he....

I failed miserably but, my excuse is that I could only see half of the questions and answers.
|

Question 3: "How many years did the 1911 serve as the main sidearm for the U.S. military?" http://www.cotep.org/forum/picture.p...pictureid=1046 |

You are right again my friend. Thank you sir! Since "I" never accepted the Beretta as "MY" official sidearm, I still say 80 yrs. funny |
100%! I too have issue with # 3 though
|
Right Caleb, I got 7/10 and then realized there were more choices I couldn't see.
Guess I need to be banned. |
10/10
#3 is a technicality. The M9 was officially adopted in 1985, but I know the first pistol I qualified with in 1989 was a 1911. |
