Oddly enough, one of the semi-recurring characters of the "West Wing" TV Series, a congressman Matt Skinner (played by Charley Lang), was a gay, conservative republican. He makes an excellent point towards the end of the episode that his entire life doesn't have to be about his "preferences."

BTW there is a LGBT Pro-2A organization. www.pinkpistols.org Their membership has exploded over the past two days from 1000 to 2500.

Question: Can you carry in a club where alcohol is served?...legally in FL, I mean.

If the club is a dance club and has a bar or is just a place with a bar as the source of income, then no. If it is a restaurant like TGI Fridays then yes but you can't go near the bar area.

If the primary source of revenue is alcohol then no, you can't enter the building.

Absolutely. The BOR is for all Americans. The more people exercise their constitutional rights the safer they are.

Love is love, let them shoot and have fun. As long as they behave as responsible gun owners and seek training, we all win

Correct. but if you do it's a small fine, just a misdemeanor as I understand it. A slap on the wrist. Not saying you should break the law...

but I know of certain permit holders that sit on the high tables by the bar and carry without thinking twice...[emoji6]

This is correct...there is actually a "percentage" of sales comparing alcohol to food sales to make the establishment legal for concealed carry. I have never heard of that being pressed.

When I go to South Carolina I can carry in a bar or restaurant, but zero alcohol consumption is allowed. In Florida I can drink alcohol, just not seated at the bar area.
