Review: Ozarks Holster Company

Was searching for a good Kydex holster for my new P320 SC. Not many company's make a "standard stock" model.

Finally, I found Ozarks Holster Company that would make a custom holder very cheaply and with excellent quality - The lead time is about three weeks for a custom holster, but it was worth the wait. Got it in black kydex, very slim, but easy to draw and re-holster at 4 O'clock. It holds the weapon very well. And it doesn't cost me too much "waist" room when trying to get my pants on. Durably made, and I hardly feel it. I think I'm going to like this one.

Highest recommendation to Dustin Osborn, Owner of Ozarks Holster Co. out of Nixa, Missouri.

Looks great, more like carbon fiber-ish, right?

Yes, it is described as "Carbon Fiber Black Holstex..." But they will make the same in other colors, including FDE, Foliage, Blood Red, Police Blue, etc. etc.

The only thing that I dislike is the clip position, it unnecessarily adds width to the system. The clip could've been offset to the side, ala panther.

I actually think the Ozark holster has cleaner lines than the panther, although that's no indication of proper functionality which panthers are known to excel at (my edc holster for my G19 is a panther, best holster I've ever owned for that firearm). Keeps us posted on how it performs ok?

Will do... so far, so good. I don't feel it when sitting in my desk chair, even though the general width of the weapon is slightly larger than my former EDC, my Shield 9mm.

Cool beans, keep us posted on how it performs under some carry time.

PS: Where is the 320 range report? Ahem.........

Except for the slightly extra width of the belt clip location, it looks to have virtually identical lines to the IWB Panther I'm using now, also in carbon fiber finish. I know Arnold tried to get a Panther but Jim didn't yet have a P320 blue gun/mold available at the time. However, I'll be surprised if that doesn't change soon.

Don't get me wrong, I love Jim and Scott's product, but the Ozark holster seems to have better boning, look how even the rail shows on the kydex. Panthers are incredible, secure hold and smooth draw. But the lines are not as clean. But again, it's about functionality, not looks.
