Consider that last season of the "West Wing..." where they used John Spencer's death (Leo McGarry) similarly.... the implication was that by Leo dying on election day, he put the fix in for "Matt Santos" to win by 2 electoral votes, as the last state was being called.

Very true! I was thinking that everybody has to go up to the "Pearly Gates" to "check in." Whether or not they open those gates for her is another matter. But she could appeal for HRC while arguing her case... :D
