It's an honor to be here. I am a huge fan of Dan Wesson's and of 1911's, so it is no surprise that I love my VBOB.

My original love for Dan Wesson's started years ago when my father had a DW .44 Mag revolver with interchangeable barrels.

Thanks again it is great to become a member of the community. Quick question I am assuming that some words and/or usernames are associated with emoticons? When I typed my name Sc0tt above without the 0 but with an o an emoticon of a dog appeared.

Regarding names and emoticons, yes... a few names have been blessed/cursed with characters. Prime example is my name

If you click "More" on the "smilies" list, you'll see them all. And you'll see what names, etc. will translate to a smilie.

A lot of the senior COTEP members have their names in smilies. Like a fighter pilot's "call sign," It's something you can't pick for yourself. It's something you're "given." :) As you browse through the posts and see how folks interact, you'll see how they got their smilie.

Time will tell. :)
