If this were golf I would be kicking butt. Kaden thought it was cool on the way to school today how the temperature gauge went negative.

Carry on

skosh69 12-12-2016 12:37 PM

Not no, but hell no. I would not have even left the house if it were that cold.

Wait, I would not even move to an area that got even remotely close to getting that cold.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I do have to applaud Kaden's enthusiasm and positive outlook at the situation.

Xbonz 12-12-2016 01:39 PM

Isn't that what you South Dakotans consider a "warm spell"?

RKP 12-12-2016 02:14 PM

Yeah, that's a little colder than 70* sweater weather. :D

pitor 12-12-2016 02:43 PM

Ah heck no. I enjoy snow for a week on the slopes or just sightseeing, but after a week I need some warmth. Glad Kaden enjoys the weather

sdmc530 12-12-2016 03:23 PM

Yep, we love this stuff. Cold is cold but if no wind its truly not bad at all. The wind is the wild card and makes in miserable sometimes. Today was a calm crisp morning. AND nothing that has 8 legs can survive the temps....thank goodness.

Now until about March a warm day is 35-40 and a normal temp is 15-30ish.....under 10 during the day is not that common but at night when the sun goes down 0-10 is the normal.

Caleb 12-12-2016 05:36 PM

Bffffff, and here I thought our cold front of 78 deg was bad.

Riverpigusmc 12-12-2016 08:39 PM

Hell
with
that

It was -2 here the other day. In my FREEZER chilling my beer and making ice! Currently 72 this evening.

BadOscar 12-13-2016 01:20 AM

That's not bike riding weather! I did get out this weekend at 36 degrees before the snow storm hit Sunday night.

Well, to cheer you guys up.....I have received all my upgrades I baught for the Hardrock and will install then very soon. Then, it'll be riding time! I hope our cold front of as low as 78 doesn't cramp my style.

funny I can't wait till it gets down to the lower 60's if it even comes this year. I love the cooler weather, wish it stayed around longer down here.

sdmc530 12-13-2016 01:28 PM

went to spin class today, 10 degrees out side. I kid you now every person showed up to class wearing shorts. Didn't even bring pants to the gym. I being one of them. However getting out of the car and waking across the parking lot isn't much exposure.

I love the snow and cold but I do miss riding a nice 20 mile ride on a 65 degree day. Riding in the gym has its good points (use your imagination, I don't sit in the back because I am ashamed of my riding) but no exchange for Gods natural beauty that is the outdoors.

Some of the fella's have said that's sweater weather there.

skosh69 12-13-2016 10:51 PM

Dude, if it's below 60 in the morning, I go out and warm my truck up for 10 mins, heater blowing full blast before I get in to go to work.

Shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes, with the window down, wind hitting your face, cruising weather.

sdmc530 12-14-2016 08:34 AM

60? That is perfect. Any warmer and we need the ac back on.

skosh69 12-14-2016 09:57 AM

It was 49` when I got in the truck this morning. Almost had to call in and say that weather conditions were too extreme for me to come to work.

Some do say that's 'sweater weather'.

Caleb 12-14-2016 08:27 PM

It was 69 this morning and it warmed up to 76 by noon.

Horse'nround 12-14-2016 09:14 PM

Weather report looks pretty sweet up here. It's supposed to fall to 10 then go negative over the night and into Friday. 5-8 inches of snow this weekend. Next Friday is showing 41 and sunny. I may have to take the day off if that pans out.
