EGW makes such fantastic parts. I love their custom bushings.

Looking good Dave!!:)
I was hoping that you would get it today.:) |

Congrats Dave, looks good!

I like their bushings Dave. I have three pistols with them. On two of my pistols, I saw quite a difference in the accuracy just by changing the bushing. I did order the spring plug they sell for them with the "proud" part of the plug being longer so it meets the end of the thicker bushing. Also, the bushings I got all come to the end of my factory barrels, makes them look flush cut. Is yours a stock barrel?
|
Yeah Hoss, it's the original barrel. Damned thing is so accurate I hate to change it out.
|
Good deal Dave. I was just wondering since my stock barrels are flush with my bushings.
|
That looks really nice Dave.
What part of the bushing do you end up filing to make it fit? Is it the lug? Thanks for any info... Greg |
Looks spiffy Dave.
|
I'm gonna order one today..!! :-)

Absolutely no fitting involved, bushing slipped right on. Didn't really improve groupsize in the traditional sense. Gun was averaging 2" benched at 25 yards but, once in a while I'd get an uncalled flier every range session. Last three times I've been to the range, no uncalled fliers. That indicates an increased degree of consistancy. This means the barrel is returning to the same lockup each time.
|
Looks good Dave. Looking forward to seeing the down range results! :)
