All the Field and Stream stores will close. Many manufacturers they used will not sell them firearm products because of their beliefs so, I think eventually they (Dicks) will not sell any firearms at all . No loss to me, way too overpriced anyways.

Damn straight. I really hate it to when they blame slumping sales due to a political stance or gun this blah blsh nlah. Maybe the owners should just sell crap at reasonable price to begin with and to use your investors and your employees you don’t care about to make a political statement that has no place in a retail setting to begin with. I am sure the dick investors are really impressed and should have seen it coming. Idiots!

They compared it to nike but nike has millions of millennials that will buy yhe crap they sell because they put a washed up privileged mixed race qb ot loud mouth tennis shemale on a damn billboard. So they opened one of them Dick sports emporiums here in town a few years ago at the mall. Walked through it once... did like ogling the Lil' Blonde hottie in the painted on black stretchy pants behind the gun counter. Getting to close to her would have killed you pig. But she obviously didn't know the difference between an SA, DA or AR and the price tags almost made me crap myself. So I moseyed on out never to return....


After all the BS started, I do like to drive by now and then just to flip off there big stupid security camera at the front door.:D

A few years ago I bought a couple gloves and balls to play catch with the kids. Gloves need to be felt on the hand so buying from Amazon wouldn’t work. I browsed the counter and pucked up some Hoppes. Thought It would be good place to buy a can of 5.56 if I wanted to use cash. Not because the price was good, it was horrible but just because I didn’t want my wife to see the credit card charge for more ammo.

Aside from that I haven’t been back and don’t have plans to go back. If all the Dicks stores went dark tomorrow it wouldn’t affect me one bit. I felt worse when Toys R Us closed because my kids loved playing with aisles of toys.
