Happy birthday to me....

Just picked up my birthday present, a black Dan Wesson Valor LINB with less than 20 rounds thru it! The previous owner got it to carry and realized it was too big for him so he sold it. This thing is beautiful and could pass for brand new. Came in orig. box, spent casing, lock, manual, oil bottle, wrench, match barrel and two mags and extra Dan Wesson Cocablola (sp?) grips. I feel like I hit the lottery.

OH, its got Trijicon sights on it too. I thought these came with the Heinie Ledge sights. I wonder if this was an option of some kind.

Can't wait to take it to the range and try it out.:)

It's your birthday and you get to pick your own present! Doesn't get any better than that. Happy birthday.

Thanks guys, I figure you only turn 50 once so what the heck. Maybe I'm having a mid life crisis? :)

Congratulations , you just scored big. It sounds like you got an 09 model. I think the sights were changed in 2010. I've got an 09 Valor also I bought new, they are just fantastic pistols. You bought a very fine 1911, enjoy it:) Happy Birthday also!!

Yes we all turned that a while back! Some us us turned over 60....... Mine was in November but that's ok! I'm still young and pretty at 62! Well..........young anyway. But I'm just like the fat girl at the prom, I'm just happy to be here.
Enjoy the gun, I'm sure it's beautiful

I am pretty sure it's a 2011. Look on the sights and see if you see an "11"

SCORPIO 01-29-2013 11:27 PM

Yep 11 on the sights.
