Cheaper Than Dirt, not so bad any more!
We've all bitched at Cheaper Than Dirt, but........
Cheaper Than Dirt (CTD) has made a $100,000 donation to the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). CTD came under fire in December for their high prices during panic buying and their decision to briefly stop online gun sales. SAF is a gun rights organization who fights to expand and protect Second Amendment rights in the courts. They have won several landmark rulings including the Heller case. http://gunssavelives.net/blog/cheape...t-foundation/# |
I would have liked to have seen more, but hey still a hell of a response.

I think it's damage control, but good for them. Ain't forgot how they jacked up ammo prices when Oblamer got elected in 08

Cheaper than Dirt reminds me of Harbor Freight Tools!

With all of the gouging they have been doing since last December its easy to throw $100K here and there.
$100 PMAGs.........profits add up quick |
On a related note. I used to be a big fan of CDT, but got soured after their blatant abuse.
My question is, what sites and distributors similar to CDT would you guys recommend? Thank you. |

Yep...Midways shipping is getting nuts but they are a good honest company I like them. Don't over look Brownells either, they are a good company too. |
I received this in email from CTD.......
Cheaper Than Dirt Supports Citizens' 2nd Amendment Rights Recently companies such as LaRue Tactical and Olympic Arms announced they will no longer sell prohibited items to government agencies and personnel in states denying civilians to own those same items. It has been and will continue to be Cheaper Than Dirt's policy not to sell prohibited items to government agencies and agents in states, counties, cities and municipalities that have enacted restrictive gun control laws against their citizens. We support and encourage other companies that share in this sentiment. |
May be a silly argument, but is it possible that they raised their prices to help support SAF? I know it hurts our pocketbooks some, but any company that supports the 2nd amendment deserves a second look.
