My Alpha and Omega
My first center-fire handgun was a Dan Wesson 15-2 in the complete Pistol Pac purchased in 1973.

Am I missing something? People saying nice guns but I have yet to see any pictures of said gun(s)

Pictures are in the first posting. They are .img markup http links to pictures in my COTEP gallery. They should be visible to everyone. I wonder why you cannot see them... If you're on the forum through a smart phone app it may have data download shut off or limited.
Thanks for the good words. I feel quite lucky to have these handguns. The 15-2 revolver was the handgun that I took through Massad Ayoob's LFI back in the 1980s. I'm left handed, so the cylinder release design is particularly fast for me to operate. Marc |

Some machines, pistols included, are so well thought out, designed, and executed that they qualify as art.
We have regular discussions about plastic pistols here and have great fun poking each other. We discuss the merits of custom or semi-custom 1911s. But I've never seen a plastic pistol or any off the shelf weapon that qualifies as functional art. Your pistols do. They are absolutely beautiful, and even better, I'm sure they shoot better than you do. Beauty and function - almost like a woman. Congrats on some nice weapons! Oh, and sorry for waxing philosophical :) Tom |
Tom, I do agree. There is a blend of design and extraordinary skill involved in the art of these firearms.
My grandfather was a machinist from Sweden, and I think I got some of my appreciation for this kind of work from him... Marc |
