My name is Mark and I live just outside of Topeka, KS. I was invited to join this group a month or so ago and decided that it is time I get involved ... this is my 1st step in that process. I notice that most people from this group use their COTEP member number when they post on other sites, if I have one I have no idea what it is.

I am 60 years old, bought my first handgun the day I turned 21, a 4" nickel plated Colt Trooper in .357 magnum (wish I still had that gun). My most recent purchase is a Dan Wesson PTE-S ... bought last week from a dealer in New York, according to the tracking number it is currently sitting in Kansas City. Can anyone tell me about what year serial number YG0063x would have been produced? It would be greatly appreciated.

I have eight children, six girls and two boys, youngest is 8, oldest is 35. As an FYI ... I am a card carrying member of DADDD ... Dad's Against Daughters Dating Democrats! Okay, the group doesn't really exist, but if it did I would be a member :D

My son was born and raised up in marysville and currently attends the Univ. of Kansas. Go Jayhawks.

My oldest son graduated from K-State and my youngest son is there now. Personally I am a big WSU fan. But anyway you slice it KU is a GREAT School!

Congrats to your sons. As long as they go to school somewhere, get a degree and do better than us, I gives a darn what school it is!
