Remington R1 1911

My most unique 1911 is my Remington R1 Enhanced 1911 with the threaded barrel and raised sights. This gun is very accurate. Handsome too. Does anyone else on here have any of the Remingtons?

It's soooo unique you can't see it!!!

What do you mean by "most unique"? What others do you have and how does this compare with them? Fit & finish, reliability, accuracy, etc..

I've tried to attach a photo from my pics folder on my computer but this site won't allow me to post attachments. Will keep trying.

Gotta use a host site like Imgur or Photobucket.

I bought a Remington last year. Nice shooter right out of the box. I paid $649 for it and there was a $50 factory rebate, so I ended up paying $619. I'm waiting on Zane to find the right wood for me so's I can dress her up.

You got taken... $649 -$50 = $599.. Somebody owes you $20 :D

By my math it should be $649.00 - $50.00 = $599.00:D

I hope this works. This is my first time trying to use one of these photo boards.

Fixed it.

Nice, I like it. Welcome to our forum gaguideman.

I didn't make any pics of the day when I last shot it but it is accurate for sure. I had one of those Shoot-N-See targets that is set up like a dart board. With the first magazine I made the center of the target into a ragged hole. With the second magazine I would aim at a number, pull the trigger, and boom, the number was gone. I did this until I emptied the magazine. This was done at about 15 yards. Yes, I love this gun!
