that was fun....I am 20 days away from my first hog hunting trip...that kind of gets me pumped up. I am using a pistol though...I hope it works out for me!

ummmm....I would die trying to get up before I ever did get up in a tree.....

That is great shooting. Hogs are tough, hard to kill and when pissed off can inflict major damage with those tusks. I have seen videos of hunters who have overestimated their ability to acquire on the hoof bacon. They looked like they lost a knife fight with Zorro. Tree climbing is a valuable hog hunting skill.
