This Friday, 10/4/2014, WalMart is running a promo, at least here in South Florida. Check your local WalMart. Ask the Sporting Goods people about it. At 7AM they will begin selling .22 ammo. There may be a limit, I think it depends on which store. I was just at two Walmarts and they have ALOT of .22 in the back room, ready to put up for Friday. They cannot sell it now cause it is marked. I saw it, it's real, multiple brands of .22, though I mostly saw 100 round packs of Winchester .22LR.

Store is L-o-a-d-e-d with .22 waiting to hit the shelves Friday morning. So is Glades Rd and 441.

Here it starts Saturday Morning. Confirmed.

Nah, no contacts up there. You hafta call them. If it's on up near you I would ask three plus stores what time they start selling ammo. Usually 7AM. Be at the first store 6:45, then go store to store in your area, fast. Plan a route. It's minimum 300 rounds per store you will score, depending on what boxes they have. Could be 1650 per store.

And all at WalMart prices!

I went to another WalMart yesterday, a guy in front of me got the last 333 pack. I told him flat out how I hate mot*erf*cking horders, and mot*erf*king resellers at inflated prices. Jumped right in his face. Thought he was gonna give it to me for free.....LOL...He was stuttering, explaining he needed ammo for his new 10/22. Oopsie. :rolleyes:

Lol........ Poor guy probably had a nervous breakdown.

I do that all the time. The guy yesterday was twice my size, but nobody expect lil old me to jump in their sh*t.

Stores will be selling 100 round packs of cci 7.47 a stick, limit 3.
Starts 8am Saturday morning till gone. No rain checks.

Just got in from Delray Walmart. Was with wife, went to see her Uncle post operation. He lives near Walmart. Store was empty, needed pool filters. Ammo section close to pool stuff. Walk over to ammo cabinet...BANG....scored three boxes each...6 X 225 = 1350 rounds

Going back at 7AM......still gonna try for the hunting promo ammo.

Nah...depends on the store.....Some 24 hour stores are impossible to get a person with the ammo key...most of the resellers and hoarders show up just before 7AM. Was at two stores today, both said they expect lines tomorrow morning, but not just for .22 ammo. It is a hunting promo, all kinds of stuff is being displayed.

Didn't go back this AM. Don't feel good, gonna just hang out.

I didn't bother... won't live long enough to shoot all the 22lr I have stashed :D

Hahaha...last four day vaca up in SC was 6,200 rounds LR, a little under 1k in .22 short. And I stopped them from going further. Oh, that was on top of 9mm and .45.

All gone by noon here, over six locations

I heard there were lines of people, the hoarders must have brought friends.

I scored the only thing my local WM had, 100 round CCI boxes...

I got 3, my Wife got 3!

Will check back there today to see if I can score another 600 rounds as they had quite a bit in stock, and I went late...

100 round boxes was the bulk of it, different brands. I got lucky with the larger boxes.

Scored another (3) 100 round packs today, would have grabbed more but my Wife was not with me...

Just an interesting fact, the (3) I bought today were from the last (7) boxes in the case, and wouldn't you know it, it was stuck behind some .223 ammo (hidden).

I was there when the regular sporting goods clerk was at lunch, and didn't even spot it, and when I inquired about if they had any left, the guy that was helping me said "oh, here is some here, wonder why someone stuck it back there..." I laughed and said I probably wouldn't have been able to purchase this if the guy who was supposed to be here wasn't at lunch. I suspect he had it stashed for a buddy or two of his...

The guy said he was the manager, and was going to speak to him about that... :eek:
This is probably the same guy I foiled the last time I scored 300 rounds that were stashed behind the paper...

Wife just came home with the last three from Delray/Military. Never saw a cardboard box from CCI.....

Yep, same thing I got 6 boxes of, 40 grain lead bullet cci. Cardboard boxes
I prefer the copper washed ones, but it's 100 rnds for $7.45. No complaints. It shoots. :D
My "Guess" is that cci made this run for Wal Mart to sell at a good profit. Plastic boxes cost more.

I thought the same thing....Now I am wondering if this is the new norm for CCI.
