Said that a month ago......The CDC is in defensive mode. Expect Ebola to pop up in other areas. The World Health Organization predicts 1.2 million infected people in Europe by Christmas. At the current death percentage that puts 970,000 dead. The percentage will rise, put the dead at over one million. That's a guarantee per the WHO. If even a small percentage of those people flee to America for treatment we are looking at the worst death rate in the last 100 years.

Basically, close the borders or face massive death rates.

I need to do some stocking up, Barilla pasta is buy one get one free at Publix!

While gas is cheap I wouldn't mind filling up the gas cans for the generator either.

Remind me to get you directions to my house off line just so we can keep in touch if we ever need to :D

I don't give a crap what the CDC said - that woman should have had a modicum of awareness and not flown! Did years of nursing school, training and hospital work teach her NOTHING???

I hate the thought of a "police state" and forced quarantines but people are too stupid and selfish to do the right thing on their own.

Sheepdog 10-16-2014 11:53 AM

If Ebola is so hard to contract, why are all these "professionals"
getting it?
