Backstory:

Suspect was 34 yr old Blas Leroux, Entered store with gun and attempted to rob. Robbery didn't work so he took three hostages, exiting with one as human shield.

He didn't surrender and tried to pull the hostage, a bakery driver, back into the store, When a police officer shot him.

Suspect was taken to the hospital and treated for his wounds. Fortunately, He suffered for a few more days before dying

Yep, this is really sad but they did what they needed to do. Good job on the swat team for doing the job at hand with nobody innocent getting hurt (i hope)

Should of stuck the dog on him afterwards.

This is what boggles my mind, things like this should be spread all over MSM, and would be quite the deterrent to armed crime. A constant publishing of: "You use a weapon illegally, and criminally, you will DIE!" "Chances of dying while committing an armed crime HIGHLY LIKELY" or quite simply: "Act like a POS, die like a POS"

Sorry, no sympathy for any of the criminal element, and my filter broke a long time ago...

Ok, I feel better now...

If only all armed robberies could end as well as this one.

As do I. The criminal justice system is corrupt and broken. How about a citizen justice system that effectively demonstrates completely that citizens deserve to be criminal free. Build more cemeteries and more prisons and place the qualified there for good. We have way to many filters and enough PC BS we will probably never find our way back to common sense.

Sometimes the best deterrent is a great example!!!
