All in the family are going somewhere else and I've been invited to go to my extended family (next door) where I won't need to cook but volunteered to be the bartender. :D

Some of you have no idea how much stress it puts on your cooking person(s) trying to make everybody happy and dealing with everyone's preferences and allergies, tastes and plain 'brattiness'. In my family I am that person... and last year went over the rim... I promised myself to send them all this year to eat...er...turkey...somewhere else... I'll see if next year I'm in the mood to cook again. :cool:

So besides the regular Thanks... don't forget to give the compliments to the chef whoever that might be and those putting together the reunion! :o

I am the chief Turkey cooker in my house, we started prepping yesterday. My daughters (11 yrs) are the only picky eaters one because she is autistic and the other because she is plain stubborn. My son (2yrs) seems to not entered his picky stage as of yet,

Hope you all had a good one. We had a nice white Thanksgiving with a foot of snow that fell last night. I was happy to eat some turkey after cleaning that out of the driveway. I still can't really chew yet with the braces and pain from my broken jaw but I chopped it up real good and loaded it up with gravy and it was great.
