Covington Bowie

I recently received my custom Greg Covington bowie..... The blade is 10.25 inches long and has a Curley maple coffin grip, the steel is 1075. Very light and fast in the hand.

I like the custom blades. Here's my Bowie made by Hal Solem. It has file work on the spine and stag handle. The middle bird/trout knife is also made by Hal and the bottom one is made by Lee with Damascus blade and rain drop mikuni bolster and ivory scales. Have you any other custom blades?

Sweet, Jim.....I am talking with Greg about some work for me since seeing yours and S cott's blades.

brownie 12-20-2014 02:53 PM

He did a great job on the polishing from the reflections in that picture Jim,

Congrats, I've had the opportunity to handle it, it's got great built in speed attached to it. Sharpened the clip for ya at last months pistol course during a break, thanks for bringing it and allowing the handling of same.

Nice score

I'd like to see the tanto, any photos? I used to have an older Cold Steel tanto with the brass hilt.
