Oh hell nah....I'd NEVER do that to ANY gun. That's just plain despicable.

Xbonz 01-04-2015 06:56 PM

Don't tell me, it's for sale by Brucie the gay pistolero....

Caleb 01-04-2015 07:02 PM

Lonestar grips. 01-04-2015 07:46 PM

you going to trade the Mono for it Ell??:D

milkmanjoe 01-04-2015 08:07 PM

Wouldn't own a 1911 with a rail no matter how good looking or how ugly it is. But, that gun is a sin.

Gatorade 01-05-2015 12:51 AM

Meh, not something I would pay for but to each their own. I would probably take the Tiffany blue over this one but if the price was right.

Reminds me of the time my grandfather called me all excited. He found a Ruger .327 Federal at a cheap price. Had to have it as he has always gotten a kick out of .32s that can shoot .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, 32 H&R Magnum, .32 Auto, and .327 Federal. He was very happy with the gun and happier with the price but refused to show it to me, he actually got a little disturbed when I finally got to see it. He told me with a very embarrassed tone that the reason it was so cheap was because it had pink grips. He loved it but to this day won't take it to the range.

sdmc530 01-05-2015 07:21 AM

Me either; I don't care for rails on a 1911.

As far as the finish, If I were buying something like that, I'd send it back to W/C for a new paint job.

Their Armor Tuff finish is pretty tough.

This is an '05 that I bought used several years ago with the AT finish:

There's a little wear on the front edge of the slide and frame, but several years of shooting IDPA drawing from a Kydex holster'll do that.

Riverpigusmc 01-05-2015 03:16 PM

Looks like an old GI Joe toy

Opinions vary.

Arley 01-05-2015 06:34 PM

I would take it as a gift , then refinish it ASP . Then shoot the heck out of it .

Caleb 01-05-2015 06:53 PM

I think I will buy it, then post 100s of pictures of it on this site. Then, you ALL will begin to like it! Bwahahahahaha.

Razorwire 01-06-2015 11:00 AM

I wonder who did the sin to that Wilson? They should go out of business for doing that damage to an otherwise perfect firearm.

dwsmithjr 01-07-2015 05:01 PM

Here is a "unique" Colt that went to the same auto body place

This is a prototype camo finish!! One might understand why it never made it into production.

A new hybrid, "cow/pony".

pony up 01-10-2015 08:39 PM

Hey! Whoa. Leave me out of this. Pony Up ,, Thems are some incredibly fugly guns. The Holstein is hideous. There is no such thing as enough holster wear....

Rick McC. 02-19-2015 09:36 PM

Naw; I'm calling photoshop on that.

Colt would would never let something like that get out the door alive!
