My Valor Has a New Playmate!!!
I picked up my CCO today, downside...too late to hit the range, upside...I can go tomorrow and Tuesday is Military Appreciation Day! Clyde
What a huge difference in weight between the two. Looking forward to seeing how the CCO handles compared to the Valor. Already field stripped the CCO before I signed for it. She is put together tighter than the Valor when I brought that home. Will post up pics when I get a chance. Both are bone stock for now but I do have a set of Sarge's Amboyna Burl grips on order for the Valor. I'll have to see how the Stock grips handle for the CCO, giving some serious thoughts to a pair of VZ Gators for it. That is all for now, MEZ |
Congrats on your new CCO MEZ!!!:)

Don't be surprised if the CCO has less felt recoil. I don't know why it just works that way.

Congrats on the new girl in your life.

You knew it was coming...

Pics Mandatory P.S. Congratulations on your new Dan Wesson! |
Here they are!!!
I put 100 rounds through the CCO and had roughly 1/2 dozen FTF. Yes I ran it wet. That is okay, I was afforded the opportunity to practice my malfunction drills. LOL I know I still have to break her in. I put roughly 100 rounds through the Valor as well.
After a decade of shooting the M9 in the Corps I didn't think I liked the Heine Straight Eights on the Valor until I went back to 3-dot sights on the CCO. Might have to change the CCO to the Straight Eights as well. For some reason I'm a much better shot with the Valor. The difference in the grip thickness between the two threw me off a bit but I will say I had fun firing both today. Will post up more later...I have two "ladies" to clean up.
