Best Kitchen Knives for the Money...?
Looking for recommendations on the kitchen knife set that won't break the bank. I have a few mixed knives we use but,bit is not a set and it looks funky in the block. She knows not to wash them in the dish washer already but, I think stainless would be preferable. Idk, what say you?

This I've got two sets and have given away several others as gifts. They are excellent sets for the money. http://www2.knifecenter.com/item/CS5...iece-Block-Set |
We have a set of Henckle's we purchased almost 20 years ago. They still look almost brand new. I sharpen them from time to time--good knives. I don't recall how much we paid for them, but was just browsing the Net, and sets start at about $70.

Bought a set from Sam's Club several years ago.
Wolfgang Puck, and supposedly the knives were assembled in China of Solingen steel. They're still in great shape, and hold an edge well. I have a friend who bought a set before I did, and he still is using his, too. |
We have Wusthof from Germany or some darn thing. Got them for a wedding present 12 years ago still work they day they are now. Super nice but have no idea the cost...

Go to a restaurant supply store. They will have pro knives at much lower prices.
