38 Super vs 9mm +P

As posted I just bought a Guardian in 9mm. I have been reading about how much owners like their 38 super Guardians. Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the advantage/disadvantage of a 38 super over 9mm +p? Thanks.

Joe, if you don't reload the 9mm has a slight edge because ammo is easier to find and is usually cheaper but if you do reload the 38 super is the clear winner.

we discussed this very issue a while back so you might be able to find some helpful info in here. http://www.cotep.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10684

Just what Lonestar grips says unless You have a lot of $$$ to buy ammo or handload for the Super You will be better off with the 9 I myself am a Super Freak I own 45,s But my preferred EDC and my most shot Pistols are all Supers
You might check with Keith Lawson over at DW and see what they could do to fit a super barrel to your 9 I,m in the waiting Process right now to get a ECO built in 38 Super
as far as Power a handloader can work up a MORE powerful Super bullet than a 9+p but now you getting into splitting hairs It,s all in what You want to do with Your Gun

My favorites are my 38 Supers. They just are more fun to shoot and they are the ones I would save if I could only save two. My newest...
