Selling an AR15 ?

Thinking about selling my DPMS AR15 I know any upgrades don't count so what would one be worth. It's a "Sportical " Carbine . 223 about 1 K thru it .

Thanks,

Arley

What's all on it? If it's a plain jane sportical, I wouldn't pay more than $600 for it. But, I'm no expert.

like Caleb said it depends on what you've added to it and what condition it's in. plain Jane sportical's can be had for under $600 new on Buds gun shop.com.

if it's just the rifle i'd say price it in the $475 to $525 range. i'd say any extras would be worth half their store bought value depending on condition and brand name.

I want one without the rails, opticals and Buck Rogers space gun crap....with military peep sights

or another Mini 14

Now is a tough time to try and sell a 'whatever' AR when new prices are so low. You'll not get out of it what you have into it. On the other hand, if you can hold off for 12-18 months, you might even turn a profit. For better or worse, 2016 will prove to be a very interesting year.

I was reading a couple articles on a division of Colt who cited decreased demand as a contributor to missing a bond payment. WSJ.

I agree! IF Hillary The Criminal runs, and She will, the closer it gets to November the more "Scared" People will get and go into Panic Buying Mode!
Personally, I think She loses! :D To WHO, I have no clue!
Historically, No Party holds the POTUS Office for 3 terms. Well, rarely Anyway!

Look and you'll see that the only Party of late to Hold The POTUS Position 3 consecutive terms were Republicans and that was a VERY LONG time ago!
The Odds are AGAINST The Democrats

What a sad mess Colt is these days. I have a pistol there right now for warranty work. I hope I see it again

I doubt you'll get what you think it's worth. I've thought of selling some of mine but think I'm not going to even try. I'll probably disassemble for parts and keep my sbr and ar pistol and keep a couple of specialty uppers only.
