Obviously, before my time, but I learned about it as it was used as training when I was in the Naval Reserves.

I recalled as I had been part of an exercise involving the Forrestal awhile before the accident. We had an FJ3 crash into parked planes and the island in a previous not so devastating accident that burned half our flight deck off.

Thank you for the history lesson, very informative. May I ask, how are you involved, if at all, in the incident?
