Took Jake
 

to the range, ran 100 rounds of .22 through his rifle and sixgun. Observed some SWAT from from Gainesville training in tacticool gear. SERPA, suspenders, body armor, 3 point slings on their poodle shooter space gun AR's.
They had their man sized targets set 10 yards from the firing line, and were moving CLOSER. One kid took exception when I asked why they didn't just club their targets like baby seals.
I moved on down to the RO range where I proceeded to empty magazines rapid fire on the steel from 25 yards, sounded like steel bongo drums. Went through 50 rounds in 4 minutes, and I was done and ready to tend to Jake and the 410. A good day, but it was 94 by 0930

Good deal....a day shootin' with your son beats any day anywhere else..
I need to get my sons out shootin'...we been wrapped up in sports and now school...kinda fun/kinda sucks

He did ok, but would not shoot the 410. Wants to wait until he is 9, which is next month funny
