Mass shooting at a nightclub. 20 dead 42 injured. Hostage standoff.

Police stormed in only after 2hrs of the standoff starting and some of the dead may be a result of crossfire between terrorist and cops.

First Christina Grimmie's murder now this. terrible weekend for Orlando and central FL.

Yes. And the Muslim community has to once and for all figure out how to connect, detect, and prevent disenfranchised youths from gravitating to the hate message of radical Islam

Update: We have learned that this incident may affect the family of one of us. AFJuvat reports that his daughter's room mate attends that very club, and cannot be reached/accounted for at this time. AF and his daughter had left the general area before the incident began.

Count now at 50 dead, 53 hospitalized, per current news reports.

The suspect has been identified as 29 y/o Omar Saddiqui Mateen. Reportedly, his father was interviewed and stated, "He said he didn't like seeing LGBT males kissing each other..."
