Not yet! Don't anyone move, nobody breathe heavy, keep your lucky socks on and don't jinx it!

Are we there yet. . . ?

Riverpigusmc 11-09-2016 06:04 AM

It is done

And there was much rejoicing.

Gun and ammo prices should drop quickly.

Well Americas voice was heard. CNN is wondering what they didn't see and I think there are still people crying and staring at screens and wondering if the media got the count wrong. Saying "How could this happen?!?"

Trump has won.

Or was Hillary defeated?

Much like when Obama was elected, Trump was elected to change what was going on. Senate and House are Republican held as well but I think the hold on two of the three branches is tenuous at best. They need to make smart changes, not scorched earth. Scorched earth was the Obama/Clinton way. Trump would do well to learn that or his stay in the White House may only be 4 years with considerable challenges coming from both the Democrats and Republicans.

This election held the best hope ever for any third party. However it also may have effectively killed any future for a third party candidate. People were more motivated to vote against a candidate and in the past that translated to third parties as a safe haven. Untill both parties present a candidate that middle of the road voters can relate to it will continue. I just hope the winners don't take the election results as an embrace of the platform and realize they are probably only in office because the swing voters didn't like the platform of the other candidate.

Darn, I bought all that ammo for nothing? I guess I gotta shoot it now. :D

doubt it...they will find another reason to keep em high. Ammo prices should go down though, no reason any longer. threat is muffled for at least 4 years.

I bet the NRA HQ was having a hell of a party last night.
