Check out your security settings, there is no reason the image won't show. Others can see it. I don't know why you can't see them. I can not always provide a link because it at times comes from Twitter.
By the way, the way I post them here uses a url.

It would appear to be so. I'm on a different "machine" that has an "unrestricted" browser. Now, I do see the images. They appear to be stored on Twitter's image platform (twimg.com). I'll have to see if I'm blocking that website. But when I sent you the above reply, it actually showed up in the reply.
