Anyone familiar ......

.... with these safe's. I've been looking at them, and others, figured I'd ask the gang for any feedback on them.

Have not heard of them.

They use 12 gauge steel for the body... 0.1046" thick. It also mentions that the door is composite... so no way to determine how thick the steel on the door actually is.

Recommend this site if you have not already seen it.

I paid 1200 for my 23 gun Liberty. Have not heard of that company

Never heard of it.

Never heard of them but look to be good. For reference my Champion was 1400 and holds 26 long guns I think. Glossy paint and all the shiny stuff. My second is a liberty 16 gun in flat finishes and plain jane withe the same fire rating as the Champion has. Paid 750 for it.

Wish i would have gotten three of the libertys for the same money.

Get a dial lock no digital!!!!!

Logo isn't handsome but its a safe not a piece your showing off.

Was doing some searching / digging around and it looks as if our esteemed Dave Waits owned one.

After reading this thread I am not sure who made my safes. I know one is a Champion, second I thought was a liberty but I listed it as another maker in this old thread....I don't even know what I have. I need to spend more time in the man cave!! I have to go look now.

Never heard of the Company, IMHO it depends on how many guns you own and there value, because Gun Safes are fire rated and how many guns they will hold................

I have a good friend at that lost his house to fire about 6 months ago. 2 story the gun safe on the ground floor a cannon I think rated at 1200 degrees for 75 minutes house was charcoal in less than 45. The key pad was gone when they finally got it pried open what they found was really depressing. The guns were there but nothing usable or salvageable, charred beyond belief. To make matters worse the insurance company is giving them nothing but grief. My suggestion buy for dirtbag resistance. The fire game is a crap shoot at best.

I have some friends who are firemen, one being a Captain and they've all pretty much said the same thing. They've seen the same outcome you mention the vast majority of the time when gun safes are involved, and you can only imagine the outcome when ammo, powder and primers are stored in the same safe.
