Sadly, it's all they have... since they don't have the White House or majorities in Congress. When I was first watching the newscast of this, I heard chatter fron the crowd while she was reciting. I was expecting silence, and I thought it was people protesting at the rally itself. But as I listened further, it seems they were actually reciting with her. nanner

To those who were criticizing her for reciting from a piece of paper (i.e. "I knew it backwards and forwards since childhood..."), I challenge them to recite it in Slovene... (Melania's native language)...

All during elementary school we said the Lord's prayer. Didn't know until much later it is a Christian prayer. No mention of Christ, so why would I or anybody, who is not an atheist, be opposed to the prayer?:confused:

I'm an atheist and I have no problem with someone reading a prayer before a gathering.
