Still, they are prohibited in housing units and athletic event facilities. I wonder if they'll allow resident students who can carry to store them securely (i.e. in a lock box) in the dorm room and then conceal them on the way out of the dorrm building to walk on campus. Probably not, as I think the concern is having weapons anywhere they are in close proximity to alcohol and people with relatively fresh hormones.

This law won't be of much help to the resident students... but at least it will help some faculty and staff, and students who live "off campus" and commute. That's a good thing!

It's a start in the right direction, imo.

Exactly, got the foot in the door and can change/add to it at a later date. ;)
