Loading .223 frangible
I finally got my reloading bench set up and am reloading the frangible bullets I got from DaFadda. Thanks again Padre! So loading for frangible is not something I have ever done. It has some differences than regular rounds. It is a 42gr bullet but you use 55gr data to compensate for the density difference. Here is the data for H335 I am going to use. I get the theory behind frangible for home defense. I just moved into a wood frame and stucco house after living in concrete block houses my whole life. Putting a green tip round through my walls now may continue farther than I may like. However I am not sure about loading my own self defense rounds. I will try to get some chronograph data and will read up on using these!

I use 55 grain soft point varmint bullets for my personal defense load.
They are "frangible". http://www.cotep.org/forum/picture.p...&pictureid=888 |
