Sent, I am assuming that this church could have had a 30.06 sign posted and that left everyone inside vulnerable? I know when I attend my church the pastor is hard to read on his 2A stance but I don't care. Most of the attendees are wearing tucked in polo shirts and shorts that could not handle a firearm. Me, I just AIWB with an untucked Tshirt.

My church is a “no gun” church. I know the spiritual reason but it chafes.

The church shooting was bad enough... But this other shooting... a mother shooting her own children? No freakin' excuse... NONE!

The article said she had also wanted to kill herself. I trust the State will take care of that for her. I really have to feel for the husband. In essence, he's lost his entire family. Thank goodness he didn't lose his life as well.

As for the church shooting, I'm afraid it will come to at least one or two parishioners acting as "security" and CCW'ing. I know that's often against the teachings of some churches, but what's the alternative? Having your parish numbers dwindle down to nothing as people avoid being in places like that? If I were that clergy or vestry/elder member, I'd want at least two people acting as De-facto security for the parish. Unfortunately, BGs know that a church (especially one with a "no gun" policy) is the perfect place to commit such a crime... one that will garner the most media attention.

It really sucks.

The church shooter, Devin Kelley, was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force. He therefore could not have legally possessed a firearm.

he was ran off with a citizen with a firearm. In Texas, signs have force of law. Jesus told us to sell our garment and buy a sword. I comply. BTW, citizen stopped the asshole

Reports are coming in that he was Antifa. I haven't seen any reliable sources yet confirm it.

What the heck is “antifa” anyway?! There are too many labels in this snowflake infested world.

Of course you’re anti-facist, unless you’re a goose-stepping moron. I’m anti-facist! I’m also a pro-gun, pro democratic-republic, pro-freedom, pro-elected officials, pro.....

Hum. Sorry about the rant.
