Just picked up a second stainless VBOB NIB at a very good price a few days back and was thinking of sending one back to DW to have the Duty Finish applied. Keith quoted me a price of $350. Thoughts/Comments?

How much will Dave Severn's Hard Hat for?

Having one black and on SS would be cool! Heck, in my case just having one would be cool!!!

It will cost about the same if not a little bit more for Severns Hard Hat. However, I'd still check with him to get a price quote and an idea of how long it would take.

I would like to have my CBOB Hard Hatted at some point in the future......but my fun money fund is going to be nonexistent when my first child is born (any day now).

For some reason I'm thinking Dave is the same. There is a guy in Ga that does it for like 180 bucks and has a good rputation doing it. But that is forum talk. The Duty Treatment is the coolest thing since sliced bread!
