Now what did I do that for
Well I got talked into a bicycle race. Yep a legit race. Not sure what the heck I was thinking but it will be fun. Well there is a catch though....its a doughnut race. Yep, here is how it works. Ride 11 miles, first stop is a station with all the doughnuts you can eat. Each one you eat they take 5 minutes off your race time. Second stop same deal and then the third stop same deal. Race is 38 miles, with three mandatory stops where you can eat as many or few cake doughnuts as you like. My age class has 200 riders in the running, giving prizes for winners. I hope to finish in front of at least 5 people. Not even sure how to train for this properly!

Thanks. I can do about 18-20 mph when I am on it so I am hoping to get the ride in 1 hour 40 minuets. So if I eat just a few I think 1h20 or so is maybe doable. I am waiting to see the actual route so I can pre ride it. Will be great fun......if I done puke |

Funny you should say that. Was talking to co-workers today and they said I should pound down a dozen at the first stop, ride a mile and puke my brains out. Not sure if that is really a good idea or even work but its not a terrible idea I guess. |
