I do not drink alcohol. I see a LOT of Ads on TV about Corona Beer and it "Get's it's lime"?
If this beer is so good, why does it have to get a lime?
I would think if a beer is really great, it does not need a lime! :confused:
Feedback anyone?

I was told the Mexicans did it to keep the flies away. I personally don't add a lime to mine. But I also don't drink corona often. I prefer land shark over corona.

Kinda like they are advertising the fact that Corona is bland. (which it is).

I drink it either way, prefer it with a lime. If there isn’t anything better then, Corona with lime it is.

Well, I add salt to my fries, ketchup to my hot dogs and limes in my Landsharks! I also put them in my Coronas, and other beach/Caribbean inspired beers. It’s like salt on the rim of a Margarita, that tart taste on a hot day just does it for me. Feel free to leave it off or order something else if the urge grabs you.

Fresh lime in a beer tastes much better than the beers that have lime in them before bottling.

Being married to a Cuban this is all they drink. I could have a cooler with 300 coronas in it, put my Heineken or Becks in there and nobody will touch em.
To me they mostly drink coronas so they can drink all night and never get drunk? I honestly don't think there is much if any alcohol in them as when I try them after 10 or 12 I still feel like I haven't had one?

Well, I do thank you all for enlightening Me about The Lime in a Corona thing.
I Really Do NOT Drink. Have not for at least 30 years, I never did like it. :(
