It must be something in the water in Floriduh, because even when non-Floridians go there to visit, they do stupid stuff...

A M aryland man in the Florida Keys lured a pelican to a dock, then jumped on it and wrestled with it before it slapped him in the face with its beak and flew off.

And of course posted the video on his Facebook page for all to see.

The man has been charged with animal cruelty and molestation of a protected species.

Years ago I was walking down the boardwalk in Cedar Key, and a pelican on a post reached out and bit living hell outta me. I promptly and politely punched it in the head, and was informed this is frowned upon

I listen to Dana Loesch's "Florida Man" segment every day on her show. Usually between 13:50 - 14:00 ET each day.


As to the above case, With what was he flooding the emergency room? Hopefully not something for which he had to "strip naked" first! :eek::D
