Long Gun Weapon Light

What are you all running? What’s a good light for the money? I’m leaning towards the Streamlight Protac 650 lumens with pressure switch. I know Surefire is a solid light. Although, after you buy the light, tail cap, rail mount, and pressure switch..... you $$$ is adding up close to $300. The Protac comes with all of that for sub $120.

This will go on my HD AR and/or HD Shotgun.

I know a weapon light is not for everyone but, it is for me. I’d rather have a light available if needed but, not worry about holding it in the support hand. That hand will most likely be dialing 911....before, during, or after. Depends on what hand I’m dealt.

I run Inforce on most of mine, especially the AR. There are better lights but more expensive as well. If not, Inforce I also lean towards Surefire.
I’ve had mine for several years, through thousands of rounds and no issues.

Inforce seems to be a good light. Only thing I don’t like is the lack of remote switch. I don’t run my support hand that far forward on the hand guard to be able to activate it.

Meh. Jake knows to hit the deck at night if daddy racks a slide and cusses. Anything else is collateral damage

I truly believe there is nothing more threatening than racking a round into a pump shotgun in the dark....everybody knows that sound and everyone knows what to do when that noise is made!

I used to mentally train and prepare to shoot towards that sound. In my case I would be hearing upon conducting a raid.
