Hello in the camp...
 

If it's all right with you all, I'll join you at the campfire and shoot the breeze with you for a while. Grew up in K.C.,Mo. went to Southwest High School. Took two years of R.O.T.C. and got my marksmanship badge shooting Springfield military issue .22cal. rifles on the firing range in the basement of the High School... did what you ask? Yes, at one point in time in this country this was actually allowed and encouraged to join a military organization, to prepare our youth in responsibility and firearms safety. Graduated H.S. in 1970 and signed up for the Navy and followed in my fathers footsteps and voluntered to be a Corpsman as he was in the Pacific 1942-45. I got out in "73", got married and have been for 37yrs., Have one daughter, and am close to retirement.
So here I am, chewing fat and talking too much. Oh, I own two "1911's" a Kimber Special II and my pistol of choice, my Dan Wesson "CBOB" in .45acp. It's good to meet you all.
