The Okeechobee Marshals Meet 08/11/12
Howdy y'all
Yesterday it was a day spent with the Okeechobee Marshals, in Okeechobee Florida. The Temp was scheduled to be in the 90's with rain expected in the afternoon. We got to the range (80 mile drive) and since we are still in the summer months and a lot of members are traveling, we had a small posse of just 15 Cowboys. It was an interesting day, first the temps stayed about 80 and it did not rain until late in the afternoon, when we were all home. Next one of our members had his sone with him who he communicates with sign language (actually for his first time he did quite well). Next we had a member who was D.Q.'d and you will see the video why. This Saturday, I did only a few photos and a number of videos. Since we had a small posse, we were all practicing for the upcoming Florida State Championships that will be in St Augustine Fla., in early Jan 2013. So, how did I do, you ask, not bad, I had a miss or 2, but I was working on y times. I also had one gun that was tuned and the other having to go to my Cowboy gunsmith for tuning. Never compete with miss-matched guns., it is very hard on the hands and you timing. So sit back, grab a cold one of your choice and enjoy the videos. But first just a few pics: http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/L1040555.jpg http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/L1040559.jpg http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a.../L10405591.jpg WE WILL START MY GOOD FRIEND RATTLESNAKE RICK SHOOTING URBAN COWBOY http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...RICK081112.jpg DOC H SHOOTS A STRONG MATCH http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...DOCH081112.jpg ONE OF MEMBERS GETS A D.Q.
